Privacy at Free Humanizer Online

Free Humanizer Online has no accounts and only one form: the box that hands your text to Humaniser. Here is what this site records, what happens to your text when you continue, and what your own device may keep.

Updated

On this site

  • There are no accounts, sign-ins or forms other than the handoff box.
  • Free Humanizer Online doesn't drop any cookies on your phone or computer.
  • Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies, with the query string removed from each address before it is sent. It also counts each press of Continue in Humaniser, with the path of the page it happened on and never the text. Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load without tying the data to an individual visitor or IP address.
  • The hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard request logs, as any web host does.

When you choose Continue in Humaniser

Your browser sends the text over HTTPS, in the body of the form, to humaniser.com/api/handoff, together with the path of the page you were on (for example /humanize-text-on-phone). The text is never put in a web address, so it does not appear in links or in the addresses your browser lists in its history.

At Humaniser, during the handoff

  • Humaniser holds the text for at most 10 minutes.
  • It is deleted as soon as Humaniser's editor loads it, and it can be loaded once only.
  • Two short-lived cookies are set on humaniser.com for at most 10 minutes: hs_handoff (HttpOnly, so page scripts can't read it) and hs_handoff_status.
  • Humaniser's logs record only the event, the site and the outcome, never the text.
  • Humaniser's funnel counters count events and pages, not text.

Once the text is in Humaniser's editor, Humaniser's privacy policy applies.

What your own device may keep

Browsers and keyboards have memories of their own, and this site does not control them:

  • A browser may restore text you typed into a form when you go back to a page, or offer it again as autofill.
  • Phone keyboards such as Gboard keep a clipboard history for a while, and ChromeOS has a clipboard menu of recent copies.
  • On a shared or school device, press Clear in the box, close the tab when you're done, and clear anything you pinned to the clipboard.
